Flooding Concern - Next Two Days

If you joined us on the morning show last Thursday and Friday after the huge snowstorm, I mentioned the prospects of flooding this week

This is one of the times that I wish I was wrong in my forecast.  The snow began to melt (12" in less than 24 hours) Saturday and Sunday as temps went into the 40s.  Now, the front has pushed through as of mid-morning Monday with more than 1-2" of rain.  Now the flooding concerns have become a reality.  Flood warnings for entire area.

The radar looked something like this earlier this morning.

The lightning strikes were widespread. More than 6000 in one hour at its peak.

Drier weather ahead the rest of the week.  Maybe some rain late Friday into Saturday.

Greetings,

This is a message for the webmaster/admin here at sabolscience.blogspot.com.

May I use some of the information from this post above if I give a backlink back to this site?

Thanks,
Mark

Scott,
I am a morning person so I see mostly your weather coverage and it's great. During times when alerts are in effect, I also watch your other mediorologists reporting.

You guys do a great job. You always hear things like "that darn weatherman was wrong again, but seldom hear about what a good job you do. Gold stars to the staff there, you really deserve them.
