"Muckleheads" are insects that hatch from Lake Erie in the late spring each year and push inland. They don't bite; they are just an annoyance. I wrote about them a few years ago. Here is the link.

So what is a weather guy to do? Absolutely nothing but pick the bugs out of one's teeth :)
Any chance of playing some of the footage of the muckleheads invading the baseball game a couple of years back?? Was it the Yankees? I laughed SO hard!!!

October 12, 2014 and they are back. Thought this was a spring thing. They drive me nuts and my poor house needs to be washed off again.
And there back. october 10th they flew back inland. Now we get them twice a year. What is happening. got to clean the house again
